This retirement planning tool helps you learn more about your current retirement situation and what investment strategy you can follow to reach your retirement goals. These tools will assist you to:

Determine whether your current savings strategy will support your targeted retirement income,
Examine methods of dealing with any projected shortfall in meeting your retirement income,
Review how various investment strategies affect your retirement income,
Determine the overall amount you will need to save for a comfortable retirement.

The Retirement Planner works well with the Choosing Your Investments tool. Having decided how much you should save, with the Retirement Planner, you can determine which investments suit you and your needs using Choosing Your Investments. You will find the Choosing Your Investments tool in the Access Your Accounts section of this website.

Investor Profile – A Supplementary Investment Planning Tool

The Investor Profile is designed to take you through a brief series of questions that will assist you in determining the asset mix which best suits your personal needs. The Profile is available for those members who wish to supplement their usual retirement planning with an additional analysis based on asset allocation. Many members find this a useful tool when working with their personal financial advisor in developing an investment plan for their overall family investments.
